Monaro at Donnington Today
Discussion
A great day out at Donnington today, with two fellow Tyresmokers. Spent a whole day in the pits and on the pit wall watching the racing, and spent even more time taking in everything that Emotional Engineering were doing with the Monaro.
Bad day for the Ro TBH, it only managed 6 laps all day long
First it was plagued with high oil pressure and didnt track in the first event, then eventually when all was fixed and ready to go there she was doing the qualifying for the night race. We noticed that there was a hell of a lot of smoke pouring out of the car as she went round then on the 6th lap the diff ceased, causing her to spin off and having to be recovered. So didnt get to see too much of the Monaro GT pacing it about, but had shyte loads of fun with the EE team while they were working on the car....and of course driver extrodinaire Mr. Brodie!
A few pics for ya all
and the culprit.......and feck me....what a mess!!!!

After the oil pressure issue had been resolved, they managed to fire up the Ro before it went out to qualify for the evening race.
