A well balanced review I thought. £35K to create a beast and then another £31k to tame it. Big cats are best seen in the wild and not in a zoo! Although the irony was not missed

Vauxhall Monaro VXR500
Fuel economy: terrible.
CO2 emissions: horrendous

Pretty decent review I think, much better than that dross that is the TV programme. It's comparing apples with oranges, but the reviewer knows that, which is quite refreshing I thought.

Good review.

You can't really compare a car costing twice as much though.

Having lived with my CV8 for two years (using almost everyday) and after adding the sports pac this summer I would have the VXR500 anyday of the week.

I still get a grin everytime I start my engine (and I can't say I have ever done that on any other car I have owned).

Usually this time of year I start dreaming about what car to get next - this time however I am thinking of extending the lease......

I don't get the slagging that the interior gets though. It's pretty darn good IMO.
