Trip resets itself

Is this normal, both tripmeters seem to reset to zero at around 700 miles?

yep happens to me all the time - bit bloody annoying when you are trying to record the total distance covered for a trip down south!!! Think its something to do with 1000km which is around 700 miles iirc.

I wondered if that was what was happening, but you'd think if all the other settings are in MPH/gallons the trip would reset at 1000 miles.
