VXR? That'll be the '04 model. The CV8 had the LS1 edit right up until supplies run/ran out.

thanks for that. do you think the exhaust manifold with cat would fit an earlier car same motor?? like a 2001 commodore

Mine's is a 2006 facelift CV8 running the 5.7...

Well if it were an LS1 engine then it'll fit the engine... but I don't know what was fitted to a 2001 Commodore (Google would tell me, I'm sure).
