I see your point Steve but normally whenever someone is talking about a "fast" car their first reaction is "How quick to 60 is it?". It might not mean a lot but it is figures that most people understand. If you said "30-70 in 3 seconds" they might not know if that was fast or not.

Same argument as FWHP really, not much use but it is what everyone has got used to.
