That looks awful, like an 04 CV8 that's been punched in the face...
think you mean an 05/06 cv8 if you look at the foglight arrangement - two vertical in a black plastic surround, an 04 cv8 looks far better with its lip spoiler and single light arrangement.
Hear hear!

Hmmmm....sure it would sound good, but it looks more ricer than muscle car to me.
Does look a bit River - but also like the VXR type Vectra and What ever that small Vauxhall shopping trolley with the blower on it is called - one the have to race in the gayboy 2.0 litre UK BTCC.
Visually, I still prefer the VX. www.evo.co.uk/carreviews/evocarreviews/15579/hsv_gts_supercharger.html

Totally agree with you, but then I would, however I bought the HSV DVD featuring the new breed & to be honest if I had the money I would be tempted, it's a 'modern' car ready to do battle in Europe & when the Omega comes over it will fill a void left by the demise of the Vauxhall varient, GTS for me tho, bet it will be a bugger to modify with trick suspension etc
I still think the HSV version of the Monaro (GTO & GTS Coupe - UK VXR) is the sleekest and most stunning thing to ever come from the Clayton factory but I must admit that whilst I'm not yet sold on the looks of the new VE, it impresses far more in the metal than from images. I think there is a tendancy to assume it more Vectra size when you look at the pics - mainly due to the similar looking front end style. When you see one & sit inside it however - different animal all together and I'm sure once the masses among us get to check one out then my comments will be echoed. Also, once it has a 500+ BHP spec via modifications, there will be few Euro marques that will hold a candle to it on the road. The style, build quality & poise of the car is noticably different from HSV's of the past - more aiming at a little "refinement" I guess? GTS Coupe however(OK maybe a blown one!) still is my fave though. J

They are absolutely awesome cars.. mind you though, they do have rocaro (sp?) seats in them, which I think lets them down a bit. Think on a long trip could get very uncomfortable. Like the previous HSV seats, they are very comfy.
