Which is NEVER does. Ever. Like.. ever.

Which, since I'm still waiting on my Citroen C1 city car, means the VXR is my only transport - and boy - shoulda stayed in bed.

I actually live over the hill (Waterlooville), so spent the first few minutes this morning clenching... anyone else have to use their V8 as their daily? Madness.

Yep just travelled down hill to Marlow in VXR500 on snow. Just what they were built for!!!
Was more worried about being hit by other cars.

Yep - And to be honest any more than an inch and it doesn't go out the garage.

I took mine out last year and never got out the estate where I live.

I ended up putting it in to a kerb (on purpose) to stop me sliding down a hill and into someones front lounge.

Swore I'd never do it again.

So yeah even though only a dusting in Nottingham clenched buttocks this morning.

I know, took Mrs V8HSV's Omega to work for climate control reasons over my smart, would not take the beast out, if it got worse it would only fall off the road on any camber surfaces!

Well I'm waiting on a C1 that should have been here 2 weeks ago but weather has prevented it - and my only means of getting anywhere is by road. I did cycle but that was stolen just before Christmas (effing Portsmouth kids) so the VXR is all I have... I'm not impressed!

Just done the first half of my 56 mile daily commute on snow covered roads in the VXR. Overall was really impressed at how well it coped. I was almost doing 8 mph at one point laugh eek

360'd my CV8 last year. Without damage luckily. This year I've got Toyo Snowprox fitted, but haven't had any snow to try them on yet.

I'd pretty much assumed that all tuned cars went T/C-less?

I also enjoyed one of those moments:

Pitch black, wet stretch of empty dual carriageway, big fat snowflakes blowing straight at me.

Supercharged HSV with 500+ horseys doing their thing.

It was like a scene in a sci-fi when they nail the loud pedal and everything goes stripey!!

Much fun...............really wakes you up

I had a similar experience. I got in all excited then decided to turn on the TC.. then thought about it and turned off again - logic being I would rather feel no traction than have power removed from me when I lost it. Whether or not that is valid logic I have no idea but the run into work was 'interesting' hehe
