Very nice.

Black wheels work well on the CV8 for sure. Mine need a little retouching on the centre caps and a couple of scratches. Well worth doing against the cost of new wheels.

Looks very well indeed, red and black is a surprisingly good mix!

Where did you get the centre caps and nut covers from if you don't mind me asking?

£180 should cover all 4 wheels if the going rate up here is anything to go by. Depends greatly on the amount of refurb work needing done. I was quoted 120 just for powder coating all 4 wheels.

silly ? though can they do it without having to take the tyres off? Do you just drive in, they take the wheels (and potentially tyres) off and do them there whilst you wait?

Not sure if dark rims with the black car would go well but I fancy looking into options

nope, need to take wheels off car and the tyres. powder coating usually requires some form of baking as I understand it. Turnaround was going to be around a week. Hence why I intend buying some spare wheels so I can continue to use the car while they're away.

180 for all four wheels powdercoated and refurbished with tyres removed at SEM in Sunderland. Powdercoating covers the entire wheel not just the front face like the standard GM Holden finish.

Pleased to see pictures of red CV8 with blackish rims, as have been pondering changing mine after a couple of small scrapes, and they look great!
Any chance you can mail me with Mackem firms details
