Another thumbs up for Pentagon Rochdale

Hi Folks,

Just to say that Pentagon Rochdale are going for the Monaro certification in the near future. I have just had mine serviced there and was pleased to find it came back in as good shape as it arrived and with only 1 mile extra on the speedo (unlike my previous Vauxhall dealer experiences).

Only negative point is I would not recommend the car washer - LOL (I think he was frightened of it). They did a very quick wash of the exterior and missed 60% of the drivers side and 20% of the passengers side. Oh well, it was really dirty after putting 260 miles on it yesterday in the lake district (got an invite from the Renault V6 owners club for a meeting and demo the Aussie v8).

All in all a thumbs up for the guys.

That's good to know because I'm in the York / Harrogate area and Rochdale is a lot closer than Kent.

Yes, the nearest official ones are Slater's in Colwyn Bay and Pentagon in Derby. Kent is ideal but no way I could justify the travel/fuel.

Rochdale will be (hopefully soon) the nearest place.

p.s. Meant to say, if you want to feel a rip shifter in a '06 CV8 let me know (will be the same as VXR except for your slightly smaller top shifter section - guessing about 4CM taller throw).

May take you up on that at some point as we have an offcie in Standish, Wigan which I have to go to occasionally.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go for the ripshift in any case - as guess what? I missed a gear on Sunday while driving a little more rapidly, than perhaps the law allows - I felt a total plonker!

I will give them a chance at my next service.
Hopefully by then they will be certified so i may finally get my passenger seat fixed!

Knowing how keen you are i am surprised you let them even half wash your PAJ!
