Billing 2007

As you may or may not know, The VBOA puts on a big show each year at the Billing Aquadrome.

This year it's July 7th/8th.

I know a few of you do go - some with/without clubs. Over at ClubCalibra.net we're inviting Monaros on to the stand. Since I've been a Calibra owner for over 10 years, this will be the first year I go without (sold it!) so I'm trying to get Monaros part of the club. Sadly, I'm the only owner so far, but you never know.

Does anyone want to join us?

tempted to go to Billing but have timed holidays for the BTCC events later in the month. Wouldn't like to commit until nearer the time. I'd probably also have to drag her indoors away from the Calibra's as she's hell bent on getting a mink coloured one, especially if its got the cream leather and I don't have space on the driveway. Could be embarrassing if she starts trying to bully someone into selling their car

Well we want to get Monaros in to the club - it's another Coupe that Vauxhall produced (ish, sort of) and I know plenty of members that hope to move on to Monaros in the future - natural progression if you will.

Basically we'll have our own spot on the stand, can join in with the usual festivities (drink, polish and talk crap ) etc.

There is no need to be a member of CC and no fee this year - just a 'trial' if you will. The usual costs with the weekend (Billing and the event in general) would still apply, but then again, I have to pay those as well as anyone so it's to be expected. I think the only thing we'd ask is the £5 for the Saturday night BBQ (always a stonker).

So far I'm about it Monaro wise!

Any questions? I'll be there anyways - even if on my own. I've been a member for donkies and am also a moderator and just generally enjoy the atmosphere.
