I've just fitted a new front bumper (thanks Des) it looks like the mounting for the front number plate would suit a smaller sized plate, I know it's not legal but has anybody fitted a smaller plate?

I've got a small plate fitted in the gap - not been pulled yet for it. Was supplied that way by the dealer. Mate used to carry round a broken plate he had from fitting full size one - was always catching in car washes and getting ripped off

The plate is so small, I can't seem to focus on it...

I've had small plates on mine since 2003.

I can't remember the details exactly but apparently it is OK to have smaller number plates on the front provided the letters are a minium size and spacing. Something to do with the limited import numbers.

I have a small front plate, it was on it when I bought it. It's not been a problem but it might be when it comes time for it's first MOT.

Here it is, nice and snug:

plates that fit the space provided are perfectly legal - passed MOT with the small plate that's on the GTS Coupe & I'm sure Jace has done same since owning it.

Like I said it was on the car when I bought it. The plate has "Wadtech Racing" written on it so I'm assuming they made it (they are a bike place and the previous owner on my car was into his bikes). I'm sure fancyplates.com can knock something up with the same dimensions.
