As I mentioned in your other thread...Buy Textralia.

Their OZ700 paddle, is not like any other paddle clutch Ive driven.

www.textralia.com.au

They do offer a range of dual material clutches though that should easily handle your power.

Im using the regular and original OZ700. Normal flywheel, 6 paddle plate, and the OZ700 cover. IMO it drives like a normal car, pedal is light, and mine hasnt shown any signs of slipping at all.
If you still feel this one may not be for you, Phone Pete and talk to him and discuss your requirements.
The number will be on their website. My triple plate should be here next week. Its massive overkill for what Im doing, but apparently the triple is nice to drive with than a twin....Who knows.

I am not changing the OZ700 because it slipped, or there was anything wrong with it. Its simply because I had the car apart to change the box, and I really intend to abuse the car this year, especially in terms of launching it, as my 60fts need to drop quite a bit.
I also intend doing a lot of racing, and some serious road miles. I just felt tat at some point during the year, the OZ700 may not cope. I wanted a clutch I can forget about for the rest of the year.

This is the clutch after some 4500-5000 road miles ( not all easy as you imagine, some hard, some traffic ) and probably around 50-60 1/4 mile passes of varying levels.

The camera may pick up some very minor discolouration and marks on the cover, but in reality, it is totally smooth to the touch. You can barely see these by eye
The flywheel is in equally good condition.
IMO my clutch is actually only just fully bedded in now.

Yeah latest gmhightechperformance mag has an article about the clutch.
By all accounts the best LSx clutch going. They have a few variants available.

Sorry, but a friend will be using it ( or me again if my new one doesnt arrive in time for my first outing in 3 weeks )

I think ECS were doing a group buy on the OZ700 just recently for like US$900. Not sure if they have them in stock or not.

Although some of the vendors over on LS1TEch should have stocks. or you can contact Pete direct, and he'll either suply or point you in the direction of a supplier.
