www.exellmotorsport.co.uk/Chevette%20HSR%20For%20Sale%20cars%20v2.html

a bit lighter than the hsv and not quite as powerful.... but as more fun on the backroads / track

for the older members i'm sure this will bring back early eighties memories flooding back.....

now being fitted with a 2.0 xe 16v out of an astra as its the easiest / cheapest 150bhp you can get.

got bored of the cost of tyres and general wear and tear items on cars for having fun in - this is my solution :-)

tyres are about 45 quid each for stickies and if the engine goes pop - ebay! for the price of 2 rear tyres i get a replacement engine!

i was going to get an escort but the prices are maddness to get to this level of build.

if anyone fancies one of these contact www.exellmotorsport.co.uk and they can build one from scratch for about £6k (obviously depending on what spec!)

duratec is too expensive at the moment and parts are scarce for rebuilds.
also fancy keeping the vauxhall theme

cant wait till its finished

Car looks great, you have to take your hat off to the fabricators who turn out cars like this.

Did GM make a version in South Africa but fitted with a 4.6l V8 made by Holden Engine company or am I getting old and confused?
