The ones on the bonnet, are they just for show? I saw someone say they have some filter/block. Does this mean they are like those fake vents that used to be put on the y2k Mustangs where it looks like a vent from the distance till you get close and see a black rubber thing stuck onto it?

Our tests have shown that they produce "0" airflow into the engine bay when moving.......BUT when stationary they do allow hot air to exit the engine bay, which is a good thing.

There was no sign of water ingress........

Result = take them out it can only help BUT dont expect a big difference..........

I was wondering about them too, thats what I thought; that they were positioned in an low pressure area, no good for CAI

probably to stop them acting like an air brake or making the bonet lift up?

Some guys say to remove the rear bonnet weather strip, then you get some flow through.
God knows if anyone has measured it though.
