Only had the VXR for 2 weeks and 400 miles and the battery has given up the ghost already, had to jump start it at local garage but when i got home same again, not enough power to turn the engine over

If the problem turns out to be an alternator, speak to Roger at Monkfish. Very pleased with the service I got from them and also the most competetive price by far.

The garage came and fitted another battery but though it works it is not the proper one so they have ordered one and said they will come to my house and fit it when it arrives. Cant argue with that i guess

If the car was unused for a lengthy period before you bought it there is a good chance the battery will have deteriorated to a point it won't come back from.

sure there was at least one other thread on this before where a number of people reported problems with the battery. still got to give the dealer credit for taking his job responsibly and making sure he sorts you out at your convenience. thumbup
