Just curious really.

I wont be, least not for now but might be interested in a s/h VXR6.0 that has some quality mods on it (zorst & brakes primarily)

Seconded VXR8 looks like a great machine but IMO they should have given it a different engine to the VXR 6.0, maybe a 6.2 or something just to give it that 'X factor.' And I still think the Monaro VXR is a better looking car but different strokes for different folks I guess

Not for me, I don't like it that much, same feeling as I had when they bought out the Astra Vxr when I owned an Astra coupe. The shape is un appealing. Now the Monaro I still dream about it, selling the house just so I can splash out thousands on it!!! A VXR600 Nice...

Deffo be interested but to be honest I'd want some serious engine mods done and I don't think my bank manager would see the funny side!!

Its a dead cert here. But after my recent upgrades/fixes its going to be at least a year or two.
Best to let Mr Depreciation work some magic to help. Unless someone wants to sell me one now for £25K

Yes more than likely.
Maybe September - depending on p.ex price or sooner if a dealer comes up with an intresting short loan idea!

I've ordered mine. Graham at Picador has sorted it for me. Thanks Graham!

Should get it early June just after official release.

Going for s/c and exhaust from the off.... shoot

I love my monaro and I nearly converted it to the VXR500. Being a family man etc the 4-door appeal was a big factor. Also bigger boot, better brakes, TC and overall better cabin I think.

I am off on hols next week but will be looking to sell my VXR come mid Apr. Anyone interested, let me know.

regards
Mike

I'm very tempted, I need to get down to my local dealer and see when they have one coming in I can have a look at. Got a Cayman S at the moment and most people are telling me I'm mad for wanting to change to the 'thunder from down under' as I keep describing it but somehow it just appeals to me. Having owned an Evo and a Scooby previously I think I prefer the slightly over the top looks to the VXR8 than the Cayman and I've wanted a V8 since being about 7.

I'd prefer one of the other colours available on the HSV website but you can't have everything, I think it'll have to be the red.

Not here. Can barely afford the payments on mine as it is (let alone the mods I want) and the VXR8 does nothing for me at all. Should a Coupe come alone - maybe. But now I'm probably more likely to aim for the 2009 Camaro or go back to 911 ownership.

Yes, will order as soon as possible just waiting for Brian or Graham to get back to me, wife likes the idea and the kids will not get so wet waiting for the seats to slide foward.
Got to have S/C and exhaust, 20" wheels do sound good but waiting to see what it does to the ride.
My 56 plate Monaro is up for sale if anyone fancys it, headers and full exhaust system plus ECU, 2,400 miles at present, Red in colour.
I think the head room is quite a bit better after sitting in it the other evening.
I hear that TWR are going to be doing a lot of after market add on's

Not at the moment, but when they come out with the new Vectra coupe with the 6.0 engine in it (Holden Coupe - Auto express) I may consider.
