No recent feedback and bam, a high value item with what looks like a brochure pic.

someone who wrote his car off maybe and hadn't alerted the insurance company about his mods? Or someone who figures he'll get more value by selling bits separately, or maybe discs are all warped to buggery and he cant afford to replace them. Or maybe just a genuine bargain opportunity - thats the thing with EBay you never can tell - I've had a lot of success on there but also been ripped off for over 200 quids worth of stuff.

I've just put my VXR brakes on e bay, any ideas how saleable these are ????
I thought about hanging onto them until I sell the car and then swapping them back and selling the AP's.
I recon that must be what this guy is doing??

They are a good upgrade for a CV8 owner who doesn't want to fork out loads of money. They've sold on here for around £500 with a few thousand miles on.

I got a brand new set of VXR discs, calipers, pads and hoses to fit on my CV8 from caspy for around 700 inc carriage about 4 months or so ago. At that time 2nd hand sets were going for up to the 500 quid mark depending on wear and tear. Mods rarely add any substantial value to the sell on price of a car so I'd be tempted to put the VXR brakes back on and sell the AP's separately - reckon you'll get more for them that way.

Wow that's cheap! What's the catch? I thought the disks alone would cost that from Vaux.

I already have VXR brakes on mine but some spares might be nice. Is this some sort of special deal? I wouldn't mind a set of cheap(er) disks to sit on.

I very much doubt they would. Monaro is 5x120 and Astra is 5x110 for starters. Also the offset from mounting flange to disk would be well off for a FWD hub I reckon. He could probably fashion a bracket to fit the calipers to a bigger disk designed for the Astra though.
