buyers guide?

is there a buyers guide anywhere specifically for a cv8 5.7?
are there any/many known stock faults with them what are the running costs etc etc

04 models (without bonnet vents) have a boot about 2x larger than the 05+ models.
There is a known issue with water leaking into the rear passenger foot well, so check that.
Check underneath for rust. Most models have limited protection, open seams, no wax etc. Also check structural areas in the engine bay.

Otherwise drivetrain is pretty solid. If you are buying a modified vehicle you may wish to know if the PCM has been locked as this will prevent you getting anyone to make changes or alter it unless you know the password.
