Firstly a big thanks to BO55 and Vauxhall for a grand day out.
Nice to meet new people with the same interest and talk total b......s.

Started the day in Portsmouth and went via Fleet, Clackett Lane, Bluewater, Brands Hatch ,Portsmouth and finally to Guildford and home with a few `plays` enroute at an average of 25.6mpg!!!

Thats about 2mpg better than before the mods.

While I was sorting out the missus a thought occurred to me that with that kind of fuel saving the mod would pay for itself in only 30 years, which I felt was worth sharing!!!

Unfortunatly, due to the fact that I have recently had surgery, I was unable to stay on.

I am confident that with Physio and hard work the outcome after my next mod will be vastly different...I`ll keep you posted.

25.6 is bloody good jez, I seem to recall in a thread you mention a dodgy dealer getting the mpg down to 11 ish. I only got mine down to 13.3 while donnuting in first gear for half hour!! So I'd like to know what the hell they did with your car that day.

Though you may be better off not asking !
