will i have problems getting new drivers side window?

Saw some C$%^ making off with my £400 tomtom today. if he'd asked i'd have probably given it to him.......... Smashed the drivers glass and forced the door handle (on dead lock) real mess, but i'm waiting on RAC Auto Windscreens to tell me "when" they can replace the glass... I think i already know i'm in for a wait, but has anyone gone thru' this and how long will i have to wait?

I must say the tempory Perspex panel is pretty good up to 70+ mph, and only then do you get some wind noise. Might think about replacing all the other windows to perspex... Now THAT would stop 'em...!

Greens sorted me out with the glass & fitting, £130 or something like that. The usual glass replacement lot couldn't help.

Thanks but RAC actually had 1 piece in stock!! couldn't believe it. had to drive to the depot to get a professional to fit it, but 2 hours later i was back on the road with new glass. After a good vac and wash its as good as new. Now just got to track down the thief...
