He will love it, it is all the Monaro was to drive, and more.

A little birdie told me that it steers a lot better and the steering is lighter, clutch is lighter, seating postion is muuuuuuuuuch better, and has lost the "timid" feel on those twisty "B" roads, also there is loads of room in the back even with a tallish (6'1"person driving in the lazy postion, only thing is that "handbrake" !!!!! still suppose you will get used to it.
I am very keen to get mine as soon as poss, have put the Monaro on the classified's so if any one's keen have a look.

don't think he'll like the interior - plastics look cheaper than the Monaro and he hated that. Also whats with the handbrake - it looks like its on stilts when its on. If I keep saying I hate it enough I hope eventually it'll have the desired effect of making me not want to rush out and buy one

Hand brake needed adjusting on the car in the UK.

Well he likes the look already and if handles better than the 'ro then I can't see him not getting on board. He likened it to the M5 (was impressed it had 4 doors).. time will tell.

Question for you lot, re upgrades on the VXR8, who would you chose Wortec or Walkinshaw ????????????
Most of us will always say that what they have is the best, but I think we have to be critical about our vehicles and if it's no good say so, this forum is great for that and I for one think we all gain from others experiance's, come on boys and girls the VXR8 is got to be good so long as it sound right and blows the wheel nuts of the little competition that is available, especially for the money, I mean the Monaro has done that already.

I've heard he doesn't like cars as he'd rather go round on the tube

From personal experience of both, Wortec.

but if you want to keep the warranty on a VXR8 then it'll need to be Mr Walkinshaw I believe.
