META Alarm/Immobiliser

Anyone else got a META alarm/immob fitted? My car is ex-Vauxhall management and has a small transponder which you have to slot into a receiver on the dash before the car will start. It also has another small black button beside it, with a red LED in it, but pushing this doesn't appear to do anything. META's website is about as much use as......well, something that's not much use at all. Didn't get a manual for the alarm with the car either.

Is it really a wise thing to advertise on a public forum what alarm system you have installed in your car?

I guess under certain circumstances that could be the case, but (a) I haven't made any advertisement about the location, reg number (or even colour, I think) of my car on here, and (b) a Meta alarm is not exactly a rare system, so a determined thief could look through the window and see the items referred to in my OP; therefore on that basis I'm not *too* concerned that I've opened the door to twoccers far and wide.....
