Finally got round to getting my 'ro on the rolling road. Had the SC for about 4 months now but just never got round to it...

And the result..... HERE

Pretty happy that it got over the 400bhp and of course this is figures @ the wheel. The other values on the graph are from pre-SC so shows a hell of a lot of difference from before. Another 90-100 lb/ft of torque is pretty nice in my books

Thanks to B055 and his Autotap I could monitor intake temps and ignition advance, without an IC it is certainly pulling back the timing and there is a lot more to be gained very soon

Brian - what's your number?

Pretty much bang on what the other guys had with the bonnet up.

Nice consistency across the installs.

What was measured IAT from the autotap and timing under WOT?

Did you get AFR too?

Looks really nice numbers Daz, so the car goes as well as it looks (after the good pc polish). I bet the seat of the pants dyno really feels great with that torque.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Runs 2 and 3 had a start temp of 64c and finished at 80c

Not sure what the "timing under WOT" is, what do I look for?

seeing as we've got a discussion on timing...

at WOT am running about 23 and at icle its about 13.5 if I go from WOT to 0% it goes to 41.3 - does this sound right?

Ringram could I email you a log file to cast your eyes over? It was taken on a motorway run entering the motorway then giving it some revs...

Yes sounds about right. You can download a stock monaro tune to look at from www.holdencrazy.com
You will see at the g/cyl and RPM points what timing is supposed to be.
In fact you can replay your log and watch the tune tool track the tune showing you exactly where in the tune you are at each point in the log.
The scan and tune tools are interlinked. Its pretty cool. Just press play and watch a replay of the tune working with the log.

High load WOT will be low, but it should climb to around 20 odd. Backing off will go to around 40 for sure as less air/fuel needs more timing as its spread more thinly through the chamber.

What format are the logs in? I might not be able to view them with efilive. But it would be interesting to see.
Is the autotap software free to download like efilive? If so send away.
