Another new owner

Hello,

Just thought that I'd introduce myself, having just aquired HSV GTS VT2 Number 29 (from GTS_029 oddly enough).

I've only had it a day but I can't get over the noise and the sheer grunt of it. My Carlton isn't exactly slow but this has a completely different power delivery - it's there all the time, just urging you to use it. I'm going to have to be concentrating very hard around speed cameras going forward!

This is going to be my daily driver and no doubt I will have loads of questions so please bear with me.

In the mean time, I'm off to find somwhere else that I need to drive to!

I've seen a red Monaro around here a few times - looks like a non-VXR 6.0 and I'm pretty sure that a GTS-R went past then end of my road recently - but haven't seen if again since.

Anyone else in the neck of the woods?

It is surprising how quickly you get used to it. I find my self hammering along at 140+ leptons and not realising it...

I don't know about surprising. Scary is more like it. That supercharger whine just urges you to go that bit quicker!

I take it that you weren't out in the Monza then?

I've been lurking around for a while but, unless you have an Elise, the Lotus forums are a bit quiet, and looking around here just encouraged impure thoughts about getting a super charged v8.......

The GTS-R in Wokinghm could have been mine - #9. You wont have seen it in the last few weeks a it is in for serious upgrades with Mark at Rapid.
