Can't see why a simple statement "Hey, did you know so-and-so has left bla bla" can be breaking any rules.

Just spill.

In a community where good dealers/staff are as rare as rocking horse doo doo, I would have thought it served as a good public service if people moved on to let people know if others find out.

After all there are many many threads that openly criticise dealers/tuners/dyno operators etc.

If people have found out 'early' and were asked to treat the information confidentially then that is a different matter. If it is public knowledge what is the issue?

Like I said, they pay to advertise on here so no knocking/slandering allowed, you are only allowed to 'dis' those who do not subscribe to advertising or have I got it wrong?

Intersting point Will re the 'dissing'.

My point is there are plenty of instances of potential and actual 'dissing' (rightly or wrongly so) which have not been locked down or removed where people are actually laying themsleves open to potential legal action (advertisers or not) that appear to have broken the house rules - remember B055's rather unassuming post the VXR500 dyno runyikes

However by comparison (unless I missed something which is quite possible)I thought this was just a case of someone hearing/findng out that someone (obviosly associated with an advertiser whichever one it may be)has moved on and that posting that info was a big no no.

I stand by my previous commment that if they received this as priveleged information then they should be restricted from sharing/spreading it. If not what is the problem unless advertisers are provided with an additional form of veto on posts about their businesses? Which in certain circumstances is not necessarily unreasonable IMO - the internal goings on at any of the dealers/tuners mght make interstesing coffee break chat but is actually none of our business on here.

If higher profile contributers on behalf of or associated with advertisers move on (especially if they have been particularly good suuplliers contributers)that is going to attract attention - QED!

Was it Roger in the Library with the candlestick or Caspy in the Conservatory with the lead pipe?

Or could it have been Henry - the Mild mannered Janitor? www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfeAqlYv2wQ

Could Be!

Let call him Kram (Mark backwards) for now, as to not give away his real identity. Is this who it is about? If so, ain't that old news?

Is it just me, or is the "no dissing paying sponsors" rule a bit ridiculous? Especially as there's no actual dissing going on in this instance....
