Knockhill Total Vauxhall Event - Meet Arrangements
Discussion
For those coming along on Sunday can you all make your way to the restaurant car park at Kathellan's (see link below for map) for 8am. We'll aim to leave there no later than 8:15am to make the 10min journey to Knockhill in plenty time to avoid worst of the queues to get in for the 9am start. Car park will be busy as there are several other clubs using it as a meeting point.

For those who may want to give their cars a quick clean up there are several water taps available inside Knockhill so bring your buckets!! Or if you feel a bit lazy at that time on a Sunday morning there's always the Shell petrol station on the south side of the Forth bridge which has a pressure washer.
Make sure your tank is full if you intend going round the track during the road car sessions (I'd strongly advise avoiding the track car sessions as they'll be full of 15 year old stripped out Astras that don't care about bumps - I'd also suggest sorting insurance, just in case). Knockhill is a bit isolated and there arent too many petrol stations on the surrounding roads, well not that I have come across.
Police activity in the area is usually high for these events and there is a Scotland wide campaign running at weekends to clamp down on speeding on rural roads so I suggest you take it easy and leave plenty time to get there.
Saturday night, its been suggested we could have a little get together somewhere between Kinross and Rosyth for some food and a beer. If you're in the neighbourhood and fancy coming along you'll be more than welcome. Location to be decided on the day so a current mobile no would be useful if you want informed of plans - send me a txt to number at bottom of page.
Latest word I have from the organisers is they are expecting around 200 Vauxhalls to turn up for the club areas. Total Vauxhall magazine will have a presence as will the usual assortment of local tuners, retailers. The event is raising money for a childrens charity that provide hospice care for terminally ill children so bring plenty cash to buy raffle tickets on the day. Bit late to ask but if anyone would care to donate a small prize for the raffle I'm sure the organisers would appreciate it.
Anyone needs to get in touch with me then give me a call on 07738071060. Anyone still wants to come along I've got a couple of spaces left over, just give me a call and I'll sort it out.
