Finally it's with me, and absolutely delighted with it. Although there are a couple of annoying problems.. the check engine caption randomly coming on, and my speed seems to under-read by about 5mph at 30, and more as speed increases... this is not good! Rather frustratingly, I have to travel about an hour to get it serviced, as none of my locals touch the Monaro.

Anyway, here's some pics... VXR 500, APs, Cat back, ripshifter.

Looks Fantastic. Well I would say that time to go home and clean mine. I notice you have removed all badges except 500. I like that particularly with that number plate. Top banana.

How easy is it to remove the badges from the boot? I removed the one from the bonnet and had no problems, is it as easy for the others?

Nice one AJ but come clean now, little bit of airbrushing on the numberplates methinks.

Nothing wrong with the letter V.

Haha.. yes, I avoid showing the whole plate on the internet. Force of habit. It's not a V though!

I arranged for Greens to take the badges off for me before I collected it, so I'm afraid I can't say how easy the removal was... or wasn't!

nice car and in the fastest colour. badge removal - hot water and fishing twine or similar followed by tar spot remover type fluid to remove remnants of the glue, quick polish and you're done

I removed my rear Vauxhall badge using a hair dryer to heat up the glue and prised off the letters using my fingernail.

No damage, no problem.
