Do you really think so ? I would have thought looking at those bids trading in would have been a better option, and a lot less hassle.

400 Monaro owners wanting 300 VXR8's is good for Vauxhall but bad for Monaro residuals

Assuming that it is all Monaro owners that are placing orders for new cars. When I bought mine I did not trade in a 5.7 I was a new boy.

I'm sure a lot of Monaro owners probably find the VXR8 an attractive buy - but I'm not one of them; and I know there are plenty of people like myself.

Not all bad - wouldn't call the sales on there a "flood" by any means.

When you see the VXR8 in the flesh its more modern but I dont think as nice as the phased out coupe.

I just bought one of the last 6L VXR's at £25k, which i think represents much better value for money.

If Vauxhall could get its head around residual finance schemes, extended warranties, could stop itself randomly lopping £12k off the price of unsold stock and its dealers selling on price then I would probably have given some consideration to a new VXR. As it stands I will wait 18 months and buy one that somebody else has funded the first £10k of.

I can't help noticing that one of the guys selling a Monaro has another item listed alongside it which is only suitable for a big pair of tits. Is there any connection do you think?

394 (this could get interesting!) Reason being, I've had my VXR6 for two years now, it's still in showroom cond' and I love it just as much as the day I collected it,.....and it can only get better, (mods) makes me laugh every time I go out. Think the "Ro" looks better too and prefer coupe to 4 dr, if I wanna' carry stuff, I use my pick up!
