You look at that and think about a rebuild, but! when you think of the cost it just dosen't stack up. So i guess the salvage yard is thinking about a "cut out" on the engine and running gear. Just a tad cheaper and i have the perfect recipient, mmmmmmmmmm watch this space hehe

I went and had a look at this beast on the weekend. Umm, well, going to need alot of work that is for sure to get it back to where it was that is for sure. Have photos if anyone is interested.

I did similar damage to an old car of mine running into the back of someone at sub 10mph (i reckon). It's possible to make a mess like that at fairly low speeds since the front is designed to deform a lot on impact (as you well know!)

My airbag didn't deploy but it didn't need to as the seatbelt held me perfectly in place. It still cost £2k to fix though!
