My P&J is now two years old so as a birthday treat we got some headers and sports cats coupled with a service down at Greens we had a great day was given a great loan car thanks to Brian David and Kevin the work was carried out very quickly because it looked quite busy in the workshop.
The drive home around the M25 brought some great reactions from other drivers three drivers asked to rev it traffic and thought it was great and one lady in a soft top astra thought my name was Rick!!!! or that is what it sounded like over the roar (not a petrol head) but to finish it off on a clear run under a motorway bridge a biker in front on his sports bike was quite startled by the roar and that was with his loud bike and helmet on, he stoped next to me and was very impressed.
Also after two years and 12k miles the back tyres needed replacing
1. Is this a record for length of time and milage
2. Or do i need to try harder ( the guy at the tyre shop said a silver vxr is in ever 4-5 months for rears!!)
So after two years I am still excited about driving the car, it is a very rare site, still have people take pics on there phones.
Have not yet decided weather to take the mods to the next level yet but will keep working on she who must be obeyed.
