considering getting some made up and saving the cats for MOT time. Currently running aftermarket 100 or 200 cell cats (cant remember which) so if I removed them altogether will it effect the tune at all to a level where I need the map adjusting?

yes ringram I am going to get around to getting some lc-1s soon! biggrin

Fueling is determined prior to the cats so it shouldn't make any difference. However the extra airflow might lean out open loop a little depending on how restrictive the cats were. Mr Maf & O2's will take care of most of it. But in an ideal world you would want to check the tune smile Should be negligible though.

I have a couple of stainless bypass pipes available which might save you some £ take a look here http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/156514.htm just check the flange configuration. Roger has one, I have the other.

I don't think that they will make a significant difference to power but your car will be louder!

Either, but they are 1.5/8 primaries so really best for unmodified engines. (ie) No cam or forced induction upgrades.
