What do you think of Jez's motor?
Discussion
went to check out the sussex motors website where the picture came from but buggered if i could find the page that picture was on, I thought if there was a front aspect photo I could identify the make more easily. the badge on the boot is very reminiscent of either chrysler or chevy but not exactly. my first thought was it looks a bit Frazer Nash but it could be a chrysler. I'm guessing that the Veeeighthsv that takes a lot of the pics on SSMC is the V8HSV who started this thread. did you take the picture?
Spot on Triple Six, she`s a 1948 Chrysler 2 door Windsor Coupe been in the family 5 years now and gets used most weekends.
Running a 350ci small block with Holly and mild cam, Camaro clip (front end of a 1978 Camaro glued on) so discs and power steering. TH350 3 speed auto and a Ford 9 inch rear.
The cars a rarey, only ever made 1600 of the 3 windows because it`s a genuine 2 seater even though its 18 ft long so didn`t sell well. (My gain)
Kind of using the `ro` as a technology test bed for her as i`m looking to go LS1, auto and independent rear over the coming months (years in reality)
Needs a lot of brightwork before I do a body off restoration, also want a final mechanical shakedown as I`ve phuked up many a paint job due to breakages.
Always do Wheels Day, last weekend was at the NHRA bash at Billing and Gary`s Picnic at Shakespear County Raceway (Met stevieturbo).
Two years ago she was in Classic American Mag.
Had a good day in her yesterday, little bit concerned about the lack of space in the carpark and the value of the other cars as I`ve always used the bumpers as parking sensors
So glad you guy`s like her.
