Please see my advert on pistonheads.co.uk.

I have sadly decided to part with the car as I'm confined to suburban London & just don't get the opportunity to enjoy it properly.

It may be your final chance to buy an as new Black VXR? Full Vauxhall warranty remaining to Sept '09. Perfect condition. Dealer fitted VXR exhaust.

£25,995 to sell.

Yeah, I was looking at your car last night in the Classifieds, lovely car!!

If only it were £23000 I'd probably snap your hands off to have it.

I was supposed to be waiting until August as well.

So the only reason you are selling up is that you don't get chance to use it, absolutely nothing wrong with it at all? Shame as it looks mint!

Well Greg, August isn't that far off & you can always try an offer (£23k is a bit cheeky though!).

This is a perfect factory fresh car. If there were anything wrong with it I'd have got it fixed under warranty! It has spent most of it's time since registration as a showroom car at Motorbodies/Luton.

My daily commute is 2 miles in suburban London and I never manage to get near the car at weekends as I have too many commitments! It's a lovely car that I couldn't resist buying & certainly the nicest/fastest I'ver ever owned but sometimes things just don't make sense to keep.

There is already a 6L 2007 VXR on the classifieds for £23,500!!

That would probably go for £23k

That's 14k depreciation in 4 months or £2.80 per mile! yikes

The £23500 example in the classifieds is a silver VXR and I'm interested in either a red or black one.

Although for an 07 VXR that is a pretty decent price I must say.

Unfortunately £23000 is going to be my limit as I have set aside cash for other commitments that I have, if you still have it in August which I highly doubt then I'm sure I'll be in touch.

When you say VXR dealer fitted exhaust, which exhaust are you talking about, Wortec?

Cheers

Oops, you could be right. I rather lazily got the list price (£36995) from an old magazine article. Maybe the prices went down when they introduced the VXR500?

The VXR exhaust is just the rear cans I think - they are VXR branded - you've no doubt seen the style in the pistonheads ad pic's.

When I saw red/silver ones the dealer reckoned that if he had a black one it would be at least £1,000 more.

Is there any difference in sound/performance over the standard twin VXR exhaust style? Or are they just for looks?

So is the sound of this exhaust system comparable to that of the Wortec system do you know?
