Knocking Noise

Hi,

I have been lurking for a while just trying to soak up all this information thats available.

Anyway I have a 6.0L VXR 07 plate and decided to take it driver training in Essex, I had a fantasic day and learnt the Ro is far more capable than I expected. However in some of the High Speed turns there was a loud thump noise coming from the rear of the car, is this something to worry about or in the instructors words its the car settling down as its new.

I got this when the diff oil gets pretty hot. Doing 100+ for 10's of miles usually does the trick for me, but I only get the knock sound when going at low speeds. My fault because I wanted it nice and *tight* for the drift day. Roger added some more magic stuff and the knock is no more!

Again, I get this but when hammering it from standstill with the wheels .

Could well be diff but I mostly get it at low speed in medium tightness turns. I need to add some more redline goo to quieten it down a bit.

Sorry to be naive but whats an Axle tramp

Could be the diff oil as I had been driving hard, However the noise was loud and would happen on turning into a fast corner.

Is there anything I should check, also I have just had the front tyres replaced and the fitter noticed the front drivers wheel has at some point rubbed the inner arch.

The other knocking sound I had was from some broken bushes, but the car had done 30k+ miles.
