All GM show Billing Aquadrome this weekend

Who's going to Billing this weekend? I'm going on Sunday leaving 09:00 from Duxford area will have another CV8 Monaro owner in tow, and also HSV_RULZ in his HSV, 3 silver cars!

I'm not currently a member of any of the clubs, last year I parked nearby to the Autobahnstormers club. Is there a stand for the HSV drivers club?

I heard that Billing is still a bit waterlogged, the VBOA have moved things around to cope, autojumble is now on hardstanding. Will there still be the drive around parade on the Sunday?

Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association National Rally
This is the 25th Vauxhall Bedford Opel Association National Rally. Members of the 30 owners clubs affiliated to the VBOA will be displaying over 1,500 Vauxhalls, Bedfords and Opels ranging from the 1920s to the latest models. Sunday afternoon will see arena displays by participating clubs and the crowning of the Best Car in Show. A massive autojumble will be open both days to supply parts, accessories and memorabilia.

I went to billing and only saw one Monaro - a yellow one. Anybody here.

I was there with another silver CV8, parked near the Total Vauxhall stand in the morning, and later over by the Autobahnstormers. I saw 2 other Monaros, a Black VXR and a yellow CV8. There were a few HSV saloons on the Autobahnstormers stand.

Although not a big turnout of Holden/HSVs, there were a lot of interesting 'classic' Vauxhall and Opels there(amongst thousands of modded Cavaliers and Astras...)

I have some pics of the earlier cars I'm in the process of uploading them at the mo...

Best bit of the day for me was being re-united with my old (Opel) Commodore B GS/E coupe that I restored it in the mid '90s. (Hence my 'GSE' forum name here) Haven't seen it since 2001 when I sold it. It was a great car and it's still in really good condition.

2 silver Monaros (Hi GSE!)
1 yellow Monaro - the owner of which popped over to say Hello in the Autobahn site
1 very shiny red VXr
a couple of black Monaroa which were probably VXRs but were only seen from a distance

I was in a very shiny red VXR (with a V8 number plate) so maybe that was me. I parked up for around 20 minutes then just drove around nosing about. (between 2.30-4pm)

I was on the ClubCalibra (and now ClubMonaro) stand at the entrance (big yellow balloon!).

There was a blue CV8 on the MIG stand behind me but I didn't see the owner the whole three days. A silver one drove by and a black VXR with the plate BE55 AST (or close to that). It's there every year. I missed the yellow one and the other VXRs.

blue one was mine, sorry was spending too much time drinking cool bevarages and trying to coax a swan into coordinators tent. we did pop over to club calibra but no one near ya car. was fun winding mates mrs up though, apparently my car makes her moist but black ones well lets just say she wants one lol
