Hi Guys,

Just thought I would share that my ticket turned up today, thanks to all involved.

I have a concern, as my baby is lowered on the coilovers, does anyone know if the car will be ok where it is going to be parked ?? If it was like last year I suspect I would ground the car going up the hill. Anyone know ??

Cheers
Steven

me too!

Vauxhall say you can buy extra tickets for £5 discount but by the time you add in 8% handling fee + another £2.50 for picking them up at the box office it saves you a sum total of 90p lol

We get to travel through a lovely tunnel under the track. So exiting is fairly good. Warning though access is a little difficult because of all the Monaro guys bunching the people behind so they can get a clear run through it. There was occurances of children crying on the way out last year.

Can't wait, dad got his too.

Surely they will ensure there is a speed limit in force in the tunnel?

The speed limit is 5mph in the tunnel.......

Didn't stop me hitting about 5000 revs with Wortec catback last year! There is only about 2 inches either side of your pride & joy.... so up to you!

I have been told by a biker friend that the slope into/out of the tunnel may be a problem for a lowered car - anyone know if this is the case as I my new Monaro is 20mm lowered ??

PS - Kylie is dead, official write off - I am now in "Tilers" old wheels !!

We are on "hard standing" this year, not in the same place as last year.

As for being lowered, well, I have the problem as well, might be a few "scrapes" but I'm not too fuussed...

Looks like I'll be only Yellow one this year considering I'm sure quite a few were sold!

I think Swordfishcoupe should be made to go last - just in case he does get stuck. Should keep the other VXR marques at bay whilst we bag the best spots!

Just a quickie... what's the best time to arrive to ensure we are all sorted in time? Trying to work out what time I need to leave.

Last year we all met at Donnington Services for a 8:15 trundle into the circuit.

Is that the plan again this time? I'll probably aim for about that, and end up arriving stupidly early... happens all the time in this car!
