Just wondered if anyone has the 3100 or 3200 parrot car kit and where you fitted the unit. I have been thinking about this unit for a while, but can't decide where to fit it in the car for best performance and ease of use, without messing up the car? Also any issues would be appreciated - if you have fitted one of these units, to your VXR does the radio mute work OK - and how easy was it to fit? Are there any other units out there that you can recommend please? Thanks.

I had one of these. I mounted the display just above the mode and set buttons. Easy to fit and yes the radio mute does work.

My radio mute/input seems to be a bit dodgy. I'm having the man back to have a look at it at some point. I've got a Nokia CK7-W. Does anyone have instructions for where to find the mute input?

Hi

I fitted the Nokia CK7-W to my 07 VXR, I have not had any problems with it and it does radio mute and the sound comes out of the radio speakers it will even switch the radio on should you receive an incoming call. All this was achieved with the socket that is in the passenger footwell.

Got one - fitted exactly as Jimbo - works a treat.
