Thanks BOSS but looks like it's all sold out, was hoping someone who can not make it may want to sell their ticket.

We got split into two groupes, either autotest/parking or track, drive as many cars as poss in about 90 mins, then after the groupes change over.
Think Thruxton will be better for VXR8 than Brands because of gearing, most fun was the Corsa and Astra VXR's at Brands yesterday, they are just so nimble.
Tom Chilton took me for a great fun "HOT" lap in the Astra.

Maybe worth asking the instructors if they want you on or of curbs, as one told me of like I was a little boy.

You will enjoy the day I am sure.

If I could get two tickets for Thruxton next week we would like to go to see how the VXR8's perform on a longer faster track.

As a general rule of thumb you dont drive on curbs on a race track

Agree with that, but depends if you want to "TRY" and look like a pro or continue to be a numpty, sitting alongside Tom Chilton was far more fun on the curbs than off them.

I think if you try to look like a pro you potentially look like a numpty.

Bumping over curbs, holding a tight line round corners, steering and braking agressively etc etc contribute to the numpty effect.

I dont profess to be an expert, but a days 1:1 track driving tuition is about £300 and worth its weight in gold.

As i said I am no expert myself, probably also near the numpty category.
