Memory Seat Operation
Discussion
Not the most exciting of subjects, but I did a search and I see some have had memory seat faults and may have been down this road before.
I am trying to work out if I have a fault and need it fixed under warranty, or I am just missing something.
The manual seems to say:
1. engine off
2. to memorise the seat postion press memory button then position number (1, 2, or 3)within a few seconds
3. When the position has changed, to return seat to the stored position just press and hold the postion button.
It beeps at the suitable moment to store, but it doesn't actually work
Did anything change between 04 and 05 cars (as the manual wasn't updated on everything), or am I doing missing something obvious. My guess is its just a fault, but want to be sure ahead of next service so I don't need to do two trips etc.
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
My 05 CV8, set seat in the position to be remembered, then press the memory button (get your beep) and then press one of the numbers. I normally then press another one for a second - so starts to move and then press the same (new programmed) key to return back to current favourite position.
Cheers
Steven
