Just swaped over to the JVC AVX 800 double DIN headunit und of course wanted to keep the steering wheel controls. Most often the pac electronic is used for this.
I found out that the resistor values of Opel /Vauxhall Omega B are the same as Monaro.
I ordered the interface wiring harness with JVC jack from
ACR Pfaffenhofen here in Germany.
The part is:

www.pma-mobile.com/html/ASP/proddetail.asp?ID=011%2E153%2D0&BJ=ALLE&UUG=198&LG=D

On the electronic the ID is: 630408021105 SVXJ001 Manufactured in the UK

I only had to swap the battery ignition wires and to contact the connector from the steering wheel to the GTO connector housing. An additional connection was needed for thr ground to steering wheel.

Everything is working fine. Most probably you can choose other adaptors for Opel Vauxhall to combine with other radio brands.

Hi Uwe,

A very nice find there, mate. Just in interest what is the button response like with that kit, the PAC units work great but you have a slight pause and then it reacts, so wondering if this is like stock controls ??

Cheers
Steven

Never experienced the pac unit. I cannot find any noticable difference to original condition with the Blaupunkt. For me it is simultanious.

There should be a source to order them in the UK. They are produced there.
