VXR8 Sat Nav

The Aus version of the VXR8 has Sat Nav as standard, can this be turned on in the UK version and be used?

I think £1400 to have sat nav fitted to the UK spec is a liberty.

It is a factory option in Oz on Clubsport R8 and GTS, it does require a hardware module and unfortunately cannot just be 'switched on'. Sorry.

I usually find the portable units more useful as you can take them in any car, or on holiday to use in the rental etc.
Plus easier and cheaper to update.

Though they break easier when the slide/fall off the dash!

I don't think it is, in fact I would bet (looking for one on the used market) that there have only been a VERY small number sold with the option fitted. Satnav in Australia is still almost unheard of
