Bathurst Cruise
Discussion
I took the HSV to bathurst last weekend, some of you may or not know this legendary Australian mecca of motor racing is actually a public road and you can drive around it outside of racing meets. Must admit it was a truly amazing experience, even if I was limited to 60km/h
Will make my trip for the bathurst 1000 in October all the more special!
Oh and there's a classic mustang photo in there which I saw at McDonalds first thing in the morning too
There is also a photo from the museum of the first ever car to win the Bathurst 24hr endurance race in 2002, which car? A monaro of course!

I've done a lap of Bathurst and it is a truly wonderful circuit....
When you watch on telly, the dipper at the top looks quite daunting, but when you see it up close and personal, 'kin 'ell its a monster.
Shame about the speed limit though.... would be great if high speeds, even like 120 Kliks would be nice....

I've gone for the grandstands this time mate, did GA last time and had a blast up the top of the mountain, but I'm a lazy sod so i'll be sitting down the whole time. Should be good, have a view of the mountain straight...
Wollongong geez thats a fair old pilgrimige, must have taken 5 or 6 hours at least?
