Highest mileage VXR LS2??
Discussion
Just wondering if those with a VXR with the LS2 in it would post up how many miles they have done and what faults they have encountered during their period of ownership?? Also have these faults been easily rectified and have you been satisfied with the repairs??
I'm interested to see how far people have gone and what issues they have had as it seems quite a few Ro's seem to be going pop recently.
Thanks in advance.

LS1 CV8 done 56k miles.
Had it from 7k and had the following issues;
Speedo (reading silly speeds at standstil)
Doorhandle paint peeling (common issue)
Power Steering loss of fluid
Seat belt warning buzzer (had to be the longest , loudest and most irritating)
Rest of my issues have resulted from my modifications and pushing the limits.

5 month old, 5,500 miles ( 3500 done in one week on the cannonball earlier in july) and so far all I have needed is a litre of oil after the track day at the hungaroring ( that was way cool) and the paint is peeling on my door handles. I'm finding it difficult to go to a dealer for such a minor thing. the only other thing that hasn't repeated is the cd player started malfunctioning towards the end of the cannonball as it had been playing nearly nonstop for a week. it hasn't done it since.
Slightly off post, but got an LS1 VXR with 35K on the clock - 25K down to me in the last 18 months.
Had the silly speedo issues fixed, oil pressure sender replaced and the diff oil topped up all under under warranty.
Radio is a bit pants, but I tend to only use it ocassionally on the way to work as an antidote to the wortec upgrades.
Oh, and I warped all the discs at some stage & had to have them replaced plus replacement pads. Not under warranty. Could well have been avoided by changing to harder pads (in place of the standard chocolate ones) or listening to the radio more often.

Cheers for the replies lads!
A bit more reassuring seeing all of those that have had more or less problem free motoring, considering there has been a few threads recently regarding their motors going wrong.
I may be able to seriously look for my car after this friday as well, was supposed to find out work stuff after the 15th of August but it may have been moved forward. I must say, the excitement is starting to kick in, although it is quite a basic mod in comparison to what other have done to their Ro's on here, but I can't wait to get the Wortec catback fitted to my motor when I get it. I heard a clip on youtube and have heard a few members' cars via video and it sounds superb.

LS1 47,000+ with no engine problems.
Bushes, suspension, power steering, door, door handles & window are another matter. These cars aren't meant for our bumpy pot holed speed bump roads.
That doesn't make sense, they are Australian built, your roads in England are a luxury!Bushes, suspension, power steering, door, door handles & window are another matter. These cars aren't meant for our bumpy pot holed speed bump roads.

7800 miles on my '54 VXR.
Going in on Friday for a rattle under the front end, a hole in a pipe (air) and my wheels are now peeling... bit annoying considering how young she is - but that's life!

Bit confused, do you mean 56 Vxr or have you got two. Saw yours at Monkfish it looked like mine.
