Northern Cruise - 2nd September

So are we still up for a meet on the 2nd September?

As a thought - and please all opinions welcome...........

Start/All meet up just outside Darlington.....up the A68 and then onto the A689 all the way across to Alston
There is a Cafe a couple of miles on the Penrith side of Alston (on A689)with fantastic views of the Lake District and up towards Scotland (is it called the Hartside? Cafe) - maybe one or two of the 'Glasgow/West coast' owners might find that do-able..............Then back onto the A686 to Hexham - this road was in the last copy of Top Gear as one of the best driving roads in the UK (it has everything - to quote)

Maybe those who are interested can sign up - with what time an where they think they can make - and we can then do the timing to suit the majority

What about starting about 11am?

sorry can't make this - I'm heading to Knockhill on the Sunday for the BTCC, see if Giovanardi can continue to close up on Plato for the title. In fact heading to Knockhill this Sunday for one of their regular hot hatch days so I can pick up my tickets at the same time.
