Hello all,

Possibly this should be in a more general section, but I am wondering whether anyone here can recommend a dent doctoring service in the MK area that can be trusted to be let loose on my GTS? It's got quite a few knocks here and there, and while the "Paris taxi" look is great in some ways, it does detract from the overall appearance a bit.

Anyone have any experience with this sort of thing on our cars?

Will be interested to hear how this goes, as someone took the opportunity to open their car door hard against the side of mine recently. Have a large-ish vertical dent and scrape just behind the door. Couple of people have advised that a dent man won't get it out to the point of invisibility, but faced with the alternative of a full body shop job at around £800, I'll let the dent man have a go first, I think.

Not sure if close enough, but I arrnaged a dent fix a year ago via JZMachtech (Kings Langley) the independent Porsche specialist.

They used an external guy, but my assumption is they go for the best given the machines they are working on. I think it was £60 or £70 so not much more than usual.

If Kings Langley is a bit far, JZM may be talked into releasing his name !!

I used a guy called Neil shaw tel; 07050201733 who works for a national company called dents plus, and he was superb i myself had 15 years experiance as a panel beater using the old fashioned fill/paint technics so thought i would be able to pick fault with the work he did on my wifes black mx5 which i was thinking of replacing the wing on.
The wing was realigned buy me and he removed all the dents/ripples completelysmash along with some carpark dings which are all now invisible no matter how hard i look
I then let him loose on the Ro (also black the fastest colour)which had a tiny ding in the swage line of the rear wheel arch, again now invisible

He visited me in leicestershire but im sure he covered a large area and im sure he could reccomend someone from the same company if he could not cover it himself as this kind of work is only as good as the guy doing it
