Heard this one mentioned before, while i was working under car i noticed water had been leaking ointo the pavement, on closer inspection i found it was coming from a nossle from the cabin above the gearbox. I assume it is from the air conditioning system drain for condensation?

You are correct Sir. I discovered this 'source' after standing under the car while it was on the ramps!

my car seems to discharge loads in this humid weather, when we stopped in France it was like a torrent

Yup, and sometimes if you end up with a pile of water around your feet when you go around the corner it is because the little rubber bit is fused together by bits of oil and road grim. But yeah, when the airconditioner is going, it does produce a fair amount of water.

I've had people run over to me whilst I've been paying for petrol, all concerned that "your lovely car is leaking like billyo!"

They're not always convinced when you try to assure them it's just condensation from the ac.

Just tell them its condensation from the rocket fuel...
