The wilkinshaw one is £7k fitted i believe.
It would be interesting to have official confirmation from Stu that the warranty is maintained if you select the 'official' Wilkinshaw kit or the Wortec one. Wortec seems almost as official as they work through main dealers and seem to do a lot of the work for Vauxhall uk

As in Walkinshaw who offer a 3 Year consequential damage warranty against Wortec who offer none.
I have an Auto and i am a little more worried with the warranty over the manual as it is a relativly new concept for HSV. I know they have been testing one but i am still a little hesitant.

I have the Walkinshaw kit on mine. £7k fitted inc VAT with intercooler / clutch / mod flywheel included for manual. Very pleased with performance uplift. Its correct to say warranty is Walkinshaw's own for 3 years on whole drivetrain (so both their bits and 'consequential), GM all other. My (personal view) is that less 'wriggle room' for a dealer with a GM authorised / approved plan.
Obviously depends on who dealer is, and their experience with other products. Think its fair comment to say Wortec is v close to Vauxhall, it was just peace of mind for me that's all.
IMHO the key will be is the warranty, (if only for resale purpose) whoever you choose and if warranty is different for different power levels on offer, ie full warranty at 6psi, on your own if 9 / 12psi
I was told that the 540 bhp (which is the Walkinshaw figure) was the reliability / power balance they were comfortable with IF they were to offer 3 year warranty. Doesn't make them right but suppose its understandable. Any anyway, having choice is never a bad thing.

yep, the warranty is a major factor. I would certainly go for the Walkinshaw kit I think. I'm enjoying the power pack on my red manual. Next step is the S/C....
Also 540 is enough power to be honest. You dont want the car to become too much of a handful especially with rain and cold round the corner!.
