Another little electrical question now that I've figured out why the car was eating indicator lamps.

Is there anywhere in the wiring harness near the offside A pillar where I can take off a feed for the Sat Nav? Having the accesories socket inside the oddments bin, by my left elbow, is about the least useful place it could be.

get a usb rechargable TomTom. I can charge mine at home, at work via my PC or in the car.

Suggest you take power in nearside footwell (plug provided for handfree mobile kit) here you will find earth, power (allways on) and power with ignition all presented on an easy to attack plug on its own bit of loom. Remove panel between glove box and seat (along the gearbox tunnel) and you will find this plug in the recess under the radio. Easy to wire across to where you need your feed under the dash. I hope this helps?
