Hi all

Ive just been my Vauxhall dealer today.
Seen my new VXR8 (which i get on 15th sep.)
When i was aloud to look round it i found a card with this on it.

Battery Maintenace Card.
Date Dealer Code Battery Voltage.
8/5 HSV 12.60

But at the bottom of the card was this

IMPORTANT SECURITY INFORMATION
Keep this security information in a safe place away from your vehicle.
Dont store card in wallet.
Vin(psn). XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Ignition key No. XXXXXXXX
Security Code. XXXX
Glove Box No. XXXX
Engine No. XXXXXXXXXXXX
Refer to radio or owners manual for security code operation.

Has any else seen or got this card with these details on ?

never got one with my 2nd hand monaro despite asking the dealer for it they said they never seen it which is possible I suppose.

Had one in the Monaro,and I have one for the vxr8,both were with the handbook pack.

The now dealer im getting my car from has never seen this car before. The sales rep said they must bin it before some one sees it.

My local Now Vauxhall knew as little as that about Monaro when I called them.

It was my understanding that such cards come with the car and go to the owner (with the dealership holding a copy of the information) so that in the event of needing to order a new key etc all of the information is easily obtainable...

I've had these "Car Pass" cards with most of the cars I've owned over the years...
