Kid with a new toy type of a day today. Got a new vid camera and some editing software, so the missus, fruit of my loins and my good self went for a play.

Never heard the Monaro other from the inside or seen it do a 'fly-by' so the present Mrs Williams indulged me a bit....

(And no, no speed limits were broken or livestock killed - scared perhaps)

Don't believe it some b*..... has uploaded a video of my car on youtube as well. Found it listed on the same page as your video tonight. Mind you it does sound pretty good so I'll let them off. Not bad for a Milltek exhaust and a LSV tuned car.

Ah, have to admit, yours sounds nicer. I quite like the 'quiet' setting on mine as it's a deeper tone, not to far off your sound, but I do like to wake the old folk's up in the local nursing homes on my way to and from home....

What is the make of your exhaust devilyellow?

I heard many people say they prefered the wortec system, the miltek sounded spot on to me.

Wortec.

It's nice to see/hear a few more Monaro sound bites on You Tube although you need a reasonable sound system to appreciate them.

They sound rubbish on my computer at work but brilliant at home. The bass was turned right up

surprised at how good the car is beginning to sound, always preferred the noise of the Wortec without the boxes in but couldn't see myself living with the noise on a 400 mile trip south, hence the reason I went for the more subtle Miltek. Certainly my car sounds better as I put the miles on with it fitted but if it was a straight comparison side by side I suspect most would still prefer the Wortec for sound.

Is your Milltek a cat-back or does it have the high flow cats too?

can anyone with the milteks please post a ground level shot as since I had the headers in my cats seem really low - if i'd had my choice I'd had used flat rather than round cats

cheers, do you have headers on as well? I think its the headers thats done it but I've noticed on wortec cars you cant see the cats underneath but on milteks the tend to hang as low as a 30 year old gorilas tits

no headers yet but it should give a good comparison so you can see if is the addition of the headers that have caused the low hang. If it is that then maybe a local exhaust centre could cut a few cm from the cat pipes and weld it up again to pull the system upwards?
